In this class children will learn about color theory, different artists past and present, and how to use a variety of mediums. Exploring mixed media art is a great way for children to convey ideas, express emotion, use their senses, explore color, explore processes and outcomes, and explore touch. Each class will focus on an artist, a movement, or a technique. We will talk about the colors and shapes we see and share what stands out in the piece we are looking at.
