Head to the Field Museum after 5 for a laid-back unwind with buddies, sipping drinks while wandering through exhibits that make you feel like you've globe-trotted without leaving Chicago. You get discounted general admission to hang with SUE the T.rex, those man-eating Tsavo Lions, the Cyrus Tang Hall of China, and all the usual suspects that never get old.

Tack on the current special exhibitions if you want the complete package, but they're only around for a bit, so no pressure, just good timing for a post-work adventure that beats staring at your screen.
