Opening in downtown Chicago in Fall 2026, Alpha Chicago is a private K–8 program where students routinely achieve 2.6x yearly academic growth in just two focused hours of core learning each morning, freeing afternoons for high-impact Life Skills Workshops that build confidence, leadership, and real-world competence.

Why Alpha Chicago is different

1. Personalized learning - no "one-size-fits-all"
Every child learns differently. Alpha's model is built around 1:1 personalized learning so students can move at the pace that's right for them, whether they need extra support to master a concept or are ready to accelerate and move ahead.

Using AI-powered learning tools and a mastery-based approach, students progress as soon as they demonstrate true understanding - not when the calendar says it's time.



2. The "gift of time" afternoons
Because core academics are completed efficiently in the morning, Alpha Chicago students get the gift of time in the afternoon. They spend that time in Life Skills Workshops designed to build a wide range of real-world strengths.

• Students develop teamwork and leadership as they learn to collaborate effectively, take initiative, and lead with confidence while motivating and supporting others.
• They sharpen storytelling and public speaking skills by expressing ideas clearly, connecting with any audience, and learning to command the room.
• Through entrepreneurship and financial literacy, they learn to turn ideas into opportunities, make smart money decisions, and launch bold projects.
• Relationship-building and socialization skills are strengthened as students build positive, supportive relationships, adapt to any group, and navigate social challenges.

Throughout, they cultivate grit and a strong work ethic by persisting through difficulties, maintaining focus and effort over time, and learning to grow from setbacks.

Alpha Chicago is outcomes-focused, with students showing strong academic growth on nationally normed NWEA MAP tests, including 2.6x average yearly academic growth and many students performing in the 99th national percentile. Families don’t have to choose between their child loving school and achieving at a high level - at Alpha Chicago, students do both.

Alpha Chicago is now building its founding family community for Fall 2026.

Typical enrollment journey:

Attend an information session or connect with the admissions team.
2. Apply
Submit an application to be considered for admission.
3. Shadow Day
Eligible students are invited to spend a day on campus experiencing:
+ Morning academic learning apps
+ Afternoon Life Skills Workshops
4. Enroll
If offered admission, families secure their spot by completing enrollment paperwork and submitting a deposit (credited toward tuition).
