DreamNight at Lincoln Park Zoo is a quieter, VIP style evening set aside for families with children affected by severe illness. It takes place Friday, September 12 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., with animal buildings open and carousel rides plus other activities available throughout the night.

Boxed dinners will be offered from 5:30 to 7 p.m. or while supplies last, so arriving earlier improves your chances of getting a meal that comes with utensils. Think relaxed roaming, animal encounters that make better stories than workouts, and a night meant for families to enjoy the zoo at an easier pace.
