Theaster Gates is digging into what makes stuff valuable, or at least what hidden stories it might be hiding. Grab the family and bring along some forgotten gem like an old shirt, a dusty bag, a chipped mug, or a toy gathering cobwebs, something thats basically retired from active duty. You can remix it into your own project alongside the usual artmaking fun.

On top of that, theres a story time show from 11 AM to noon, teaming up with the Chicago Public Library and the ever-reliable Librarian Megan. Swing by whenever and dip in or out during the full hour, no need to commit like its a job interview.
